Vaughn has been involved in real estate property management for nearly 25 years.
Before joining Kessinger Hunter & Company, LC in 1996, Vaughn was a property manager for a regional hospital with responsibilities including management of office, residential, and farm ground. Leasing, acquisitions, and long range planning for the assets were also part of his responsibility. When the hospital became involved with the operation of physician offices, Vaughn was involved in site selection, negotiating lease terms, tenant finish and logistics related to the occupancy of the facilities.
Since coming to Kessinger Hunter, Vaughn has been involved in apartment, retail, office, and industrial property management. He is responsible for day-to-day operation, budgeting, and property enhancement. The properties managed are located in four states, representing nearly 2 million square feet.
Education and Community Service
He received a BA degree in business administration and economics from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. Vaughn is licensed as a broker in both Missouri and Kansas. Vaughn and his wife Kathy have four children. He has been involved in the Independence Chamber of Commerce, and was the chairman of LEAD Independence.
