ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Kelly Barton oversees the Property Management Department comprised of thirteen management and support staff and sixteen maintenance engineering. Her duties include recruitment and training of management personnel, development training and implementation of internal procedures to streamline operations, and the selection of sole source industry partners. In addition to overseeing the Property Management Department, Kelly manages a small portfolio of commercial real estate. She has a strong background in construction, project supervision, and budgeting on which clients have come to rely. She focuses on maximizing ownership return on investment through proactive expense management and works to improve overall tenant satisfaction with prompt responses to their concerns.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining Kessinger Hunter, Kelly was Associate Director of Asset Services for CBRE in Kansas City. In addition to overseeing the Asset Services Department, Kelly managed a portfolio of commercial real estate including Park Place, the mixed-used development located at 115th Street & Nall Avenue in Overland Park. She was awarded Certified Property Manager of the Year by the Kansas City Chapter of IREM in 2012 and was the IREM Kansas City Chapter President in 2017. She has more than 25 years of real estate management experience.
