ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
As Managing Principal of Kessinger/Hunter & Company, LC, John has overall responsibility for all functions performed by the company, including Development, Brokerage, Property Management, and Construction. Kessinger/Hunter & Company is Kansas City’s largest full-service commercial real estate firm, operating over 26,000,000 SF of office, industrial, and retail properties in 26 states.
WORK EXPERIENCE
John joined Kessinger/Hunter in 1981 as the Director of Property Management. During his tenure, John has contributed greatly to the company’s growth from a staff of 15 people handling 1,300,000 SF to over 200 employees operating over 200 projects totaling over 26,000,000 SF.
KEY ASSIGNMENTS
- Managing Partner for 40 real estate partnerships owning over 7,000,000 SF of office buildings, warehouses, and retail properties. These partnerships own 65 buildings in 13 states including in Missouri, Kansas, California, Florida, and Texas.
