ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Diane Barton joined Kessinger Hunter in April of 2021 and serves as a Property Manager. She has a strong background in commercial, retail, industrial, residential, and condominium property management. As part of the Property Management group, she has responsibilities including tenant relations, budget preparation, monthly financial reporting, maintenance supervision, contract negotiations, and recommendation and implementation of capital improvement projects. She focuses on maximizing ownership return on investment through proactive expense management and continuously works to improve overall tenant satisfaction.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining Kessinger Hunter, Diane was a commercial property manager at Copaken Brooks, where she managed numerous office buildings, industrial buildings, and the day-to-day operations of a major Kansas City condominium building. She also has extensive experience in the residential arena, working for The Yarco Companies for 12+ years, where she served as a Regional Property Manager, overseeing 8 residential property managers, and as an on-site Senior Property Manager at an affordable senior/disabled community, which garnered her and her team several Apartment Association of Kansas City Crystal Merit awards for outstanding service. Diane has 20+ years of real estate management experience.
